As simple as it gets...

The American ParentsIn 1994, our Congress unanimously passed a bill (Public Law #103-362) to create a national observance for parents. On October 14 of the same year, President Bill Clinton signed the bill into law, thereby finally also establishing National Parents Day. 2020 will mark the twenty-sixth celebration of Parents Day. Since 1994, this law has commanded every single citizen, organization, and government official, all over and throughout America, to get together and celebrate the importance of Parents.

Parents Day celebrations across America

While the President automatically got handed his Parents Day Proclamation every year to sign, so Clinton issued his first one in 1995, and Bush signed his eighth one in 2008, it is disappointing that Obama never followed suit during any of his years, and it is apparently therefore still forgotten and unknown to Trump... so far...

So, it was decided that an appropriate level of nationwide, simultaneous recognition and gratitude, worthy enough to celebrate the very most basic unit of our civilized society - parents and children, together as family - was long overdue everywhere!!

Accordingly, for 2020, the stage was set for celebrating the importance of parents and family in a number of major cities across America, along with seven (7) different regional Expo events that were chosen to highlight 'coming together as family' events, including at Sacramento, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Jacksonville, DC, and Boston.

To be the betterest Parents we can be

At the heart of the matter, of course, is celebrating the ideals of being great parents to children.  And so, having the tools, resources and freedom, in order to be the very best parents that we can possibly be, was an original design element planned for all Parents Day events, everywhere. At the seven regional Parents Day Expos, you can interact with many individuals, groups, and organizations representing Family, Friends, Fellowship, Fun, Fanfare, Food, Freedom and more. The same is planned for all events.

Circular HelpThe typical American Parent can face daunting challenges, not only for themselves, with some under dire economic situations, weary unemployment rates, the national homeownership crisis, growing fuel and energy costs, and prices of nearly everything going up, but it is also becoming tougher and tougher to raise well-adjusted, healthy, and successful children, with decline of society's morals and values, apparently increasing lack of self-responsibility, lesser church attendance, and even school systems failing the grade...

Come attend, mingle, enjoy and experience this event among large crowds, because in keeping with the celebration goals of the law itself, each regional event team will be conducting outreach, inviting local churches and food trucks to come serve meals and drinks to the crowds, also inviting businesses, nonprofits, government officials and candidates for political office, plus family organizations, talented entertainers, and more, to come explore exhibitors, catch big speakers and experience this Expo event, with many of those entities attending for the whole weekend as exhibitors themselves.

Modern SocietyToday's society is very diverse and complex, and so also are the myriad of issues and needs within parenting today's children.  Such a wide array of questions about so many topics requires equally comprehensive solutions and answers, hence best achieved by gathering all of the relevant different aspects of society all together, in one location, at one time.  Bringing all such voices from the public communities, from government and politics, from civics activism, from business, from media, and from family, all together under one roof, should generate and redefine what those best solutions and answers are for exceptionally parenting today's children within all those complex and diverse parameters of our very modern civilized society.
